Strata is a modern three-storey residence set on a half-acre plot, thoughtfully positioned slightly off-center to create a boutique front garden and a larger, view-facing rear garden. Although vertically scaled to meet the client’s needs, the home is composed to read as two distinct layers in elevation, using asymmetrical volumetric strata to create a balanced, sculptural presence.

Commissioned The Crest Corporation, the team and client embarked on an explorative design journey through history, delving deep into the rich tapestry of the past to sculpt a transitional Greek Revival Home. The home was to be brought to market with the aim of selling people who appreciate history in architecture with modern day fittings and finishes.
